Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Overview
- Acute care facility with 44 medical-surgical beds
- Level II Trauma Center
- Patient population: all ages
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
- Unit includes a 10-bed ICU, 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, 12-bed Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit, Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites, two Endoscopy Suites, and a 13-bay Emergency Room
- Call requirement: as needed; must arrive within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications required prior to start: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
