Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient Medical Imaging

Location: Chico, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour shift, 8:00 AM start time, weekends required
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Perform positioning of chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle for X-ray imaging.
• Conduct imaging procedures independently without direct supervision.
• Operate X-ray equipment and process images into PACS.
• Provide basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinicians.
• May obtain specimens, including blood draws, if qualified.
• Maintain orderly and well-stocked imaging area.
• May float to Main Radiology as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Weekend availability is required.
• Position involves outpatient medical imaging with possible float to main radiology department.
