Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Call: Not required
Floating: Not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Washington
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications (must have one of the following):

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) OR
  • RCE (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) OR
  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification

Background and Compliance

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification required; US equivalency documentation if education completed outside the US
• Primary source verification of state license
• Must complete facility-specific confidentiality, crime disclosure, conflict of interest, and compliance documents

Health and Safety Requirements

• Tdap vaccine or signed declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (3 doses or signed declination)
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); mask required if declined

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references completed within 1 year of start
• For nurses using a multi-state license from outside Washington, completion of a 6-hour suicide prevention training approved by WA Board of Nursing is required prior to working in WA (if applicable)

This is a travel contract opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab Tech with at least 2 years in Radiology/Cardiology, holding required certifications and licenses for Washington State. The position offers a consistent day shift schedule with every third weekend required and no call or floating duties.
