Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) - Night Shift
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6S Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Unit: Pulmonary & Medical Overflow
Unit Details: 22 beds, patient ratio approximately 1:4-5
Job Description
- Provide nursing care for Pulmonary and Medical Overflow patients.
- Work on a medical-surgical unit with a focus on pulmonary patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies.
- Completion of Ascension EKG Exam.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Onboarding Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at start)
- Completion of nursing contingent worker onboarding and education attestation.
- Completion of skills checklist for specialty within one year of start; updated annually.
- Confirmation of assignment documentation with accurate start and end dates.
