Occupational Therapist - HRHC Therapy

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students.
• Design and adjust plans of care integrating goals, treatments, outcomes, and discharge plans.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and healthcare providers.
• Perform patient transfers with assistance as needed.
• Use safe body mechanics to reduce injury risk.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Perform examinations using reliable and valid methods.
• Screen patients to determine the need for further therapy services.
• Utilize support personnel according to legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor and provide feedback on care delivered by support personnel.
• Document evaluations, plans of care, goals, treatment modifications, and patient responses.
• Complete annual education as required for compliance with relevant programs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
