Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Unit Information
- Department: Respiratory Services
- Number of beds: 854
- Number of staff: 120
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 15-20 RRTs for adult service lines, 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatrics
- Night Shift: 12-16 RRTs for adult service lines, 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatrics
- Patient ratios: 10-25 patients per therapist
- Equipment used:
- GE R860 Adult ventilators
- Draeger Infant/Pediatric ventilators
- Newport HT70 transport ventilator
- V60 Non-invasive device
- Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner
- Floating assignments: All critical care units and floors
- Dress code: Medium Gray/Pewter scrubs
- Weekend/on-call requirements: At least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
