Description
Interventional Radiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Edgewood, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Call: Call is required
- Float: Primarily at Edgewood with potential to float between nearby campuses as needed (floating is infrequent and based on staffing needs)
- Procedures Performed:
- Angiograms
- Venograms
- PICC line placement
- Port-a-cath procedures
- Vertebroplasty
- GI bleed interventions
- Embolization
- Biliary tube exchange
- Nephrostomy
- IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
- Fistulagram
- Transjugular biopsy
- IVC filter removal
- Thrombectomy for neuro cases
- Equipment Experience: EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, Jeti
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Kentucky
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried during work hours
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
- Education verification and transcript/diploma as applicable
- Physical exam within 12 months, updated annually
- Fit mask test within 12 months, updated annually (specific mask types required)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (THC not required)
- Immunizations and titers: Tdap, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB screening (QGold/Tspot or 2-step PPD)
- Photo for badge (passport style on light background)
- Two clinical references within 2 years required
