Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Respiratory Therapy

Travel Contract (13 weeks)
Unit Information
- Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
- Setting: Level 3 NICU in a tertiary care and teaching facility with Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center designation and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Equipment used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Floating policy: May provide coverage on adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
Job Responsibilities
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technologies and medication delivery
- Perform respiratory therapy procedures in NICU/PICU settings
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
