Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Bel Air, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift Options:

  • 3x12 hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours per week: 36 to 40 hours accepted
• On-call requirements:

  • Approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts on call per 6-week schedule
  • Weekends and holidays required as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ARRT-R or RCIS certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
• Two professional references within 1 year prior to start, including at least one supervisor/manager reference
• Verification of previous 5 years of employment history

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• I9 Attestation and E-Verify compliance
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
  • Maryland State Exclusions List check within 30 days of start
• Education verification for highest level of education
• Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 30-45 days prior to start (instant tests NOT accepted)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for certain units)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines/boosters required
  • Hepatitis B: positive titer or declination accepted (series not accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 6 – Mar 31)
• COVID vaccination not required for this location but documentation or declination collected for tracking

Competency Requirements

• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 1 year of start (required for Cath Lab Techs)
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Age-specific competency exam
• Other competency exams as applicable by specialty and facility

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Confidentiality agreement signed prior to start
• Facility-specific job description signed prior to start
• Badge photo (passport style with solid white/beige background)
• OSHA questionnaire and other facility-specific policies reviewed and signed as required
• Completion of orientation and any required training, including Epic Portfolio Training Test Out if applicable

• Start date: June 29, 2026
• Manager interviews available if questions arise regarding the role or requirements
• Candidates must comply with all documentation and credentialing deadlines to ensure timely start
