Description
Mammography Tech - Radiology
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Work independently performing mammography screenings and diagnostic exams.
- Provide excellent patient care and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Unit has 3 mammography machines (Hologic), including contrast enhanced mammography (CEM).
- Documentation systems used: Penrad, Sectra (images), Ambry (high risk breast program), Expanse (registration/demographics).
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:30 or 8:00 AM to 4:00 or 4:30 PM), plus a half-day Saturday every 3-4 months.
- No floating between units.
- Dress code: Scrubs in bright pink and/or black.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Virginia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT (M)).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
