Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (Travel)
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Summary
Provide nursing care in an Interventional Radiology unit performing advanced procedures such as angiograms, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsies, and drainages.
Unit & Facility Highlights
- Utilizes Meditech documentation system
- Unit operates from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Equipped with advanced interventional radiology technology
- Part of a full-service acute care center with comprehensive specialty services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, minimally-invasive surgery, women’s health, and wound therapy
- Accredited Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center
- Recognized for quality and specialty care by national organizations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience with angiography, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsies, and drainages
- Radiology experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
