Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location
- Virginia, Fredericksburg
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours
- Includes every other weekend
Unit Information
- Unit: Respiratory
- Number of beds: 140
- Patient population: Adults and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
- Equipment used: Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1 ventilators
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Dress code: All black scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- NBRC certification
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Experience working with adult patients
- Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP
Skills and Experience
- Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilator
- Experience working with adult and neonatal patients
Additional Information
- Preferred certifications (if not currently held) can be obtained after hire
- Exposure to advanced respiratory care technology and equipment
