Description

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Kentucky

Job Details

Location: Bardstown, KY (work at two locations approximately 28 miles apart)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
Patient Load: Approximately 6 patients treated per day
Work Setting: Home Health
Dress Code: Professional

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Kentucky
Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Experience in a Home Health setting

Common Patient Diagnoses

Stroke (CVA)
Aphasia

Orientation & Training

2-week department-specific orientation with a work coach
Phone and tablet will be provided for documentation

Additional Information

No weekend or holiday work required
