Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – IMC Stepdown (Night Shift)

Assignment Details

• Start date: Approximately 3 weeks from offer
• Duration: 13-week assignment with possible extension
• Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Schedule includes some weekends and holidays
• Minimal to no Return to Office (RTO) allowed (must be included on submission)
• Candidates living within 30 miles of the facility will not be accepted

Unit

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Stepdown

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year recent Critical Care & ICU experience (highest requirement)
• Experience with:

  • Intermediate Frequency Monitoring (FM)
  • IV starts
  • Lab draws/sample collecting
  • Titrating critical drips
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required

Dress Code

• Royal Blue scrubs required (not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 1 year of Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Intermediate Frequency Monitoring (FM)
• Experience with IV starts
• Experience titrating critical drips

Documentation and Compliance

• Two recent supervisor/manager references verified within 12 months (charge RN references accepted but not preferred)
• Employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
• Facility-specific healthstream modules must be completed prior to first day
• Time-sensitive photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no selfies, jpeg format)
• Facility-specific forms (e.g., IS115 and IS119) must be completed and signed (wet ink or DocuSign)
• Background checks and verifications must be current and updated annually
• NURSYS license verification required

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be willing to comply with fingerprinting requirements if applicable
• Candidates 31-50 miles from the facility may have a reduction in bill rate (not included here)
• Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
• Flu exemption requests require detailed documentation and facility approval; mask must be worn if exemption granted
