Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location
- Farmington, New Mexico
- Level III trauma center with 194 beds
- Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
- Facility serves a broad region including parts of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah
Contract Details
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Rotating weekends
- No call requirements
Unit Profile
- Department: Respiratory Care Services
- Trauma Level: 3
- Patient care includes critical care, ICU, trauma, rapid response, stroke team, and general respiratory modalities
- Occasional pediatric care required
- Equipment used: PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Resperonics BiPAP V60, Fischer Paykel Bubble CPAP, Opti-Flow
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
Skills and Experience
- Critical care experience required, including ICU and Emergency Department exposure
- Preferred skillset includes critical care competencies
- Ability to manage varied diagnoses and treatments
