Description
Ultrasound Tech - Echocardiology (Travel Position)
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Weekend/Call Requirements:
- Call every 5th week for one week
- Weekend hours only every 5th weekend on call
Facility & Unit Overview
- Level III trauma center with 194 beds
- Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services department
- Equipment includes GE Vivid E95 ultrasound machine
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
- Patient population includes all age groups (pediatric, adult, geriatric)
- Common diagnoses/treatments focus on cardiac conditions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cardiac Sonographer license in New Mexico
- Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Certification: CCI or RDCS
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
