Description
Echo Tech - Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technician with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
Health and Immunizations:
- COVID-19: Two vaccines plus booster or completed declination.
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B: Record of three immunizations, immune titer, or declination accepted.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required or declination accepted during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31).
- TB Test: Within one year of start date.
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer.
- Tdap: Required; declinations not accepted in some regions.
- Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed within 60 days of start, stating clearance to work.
- Positive PPD: If applicable, negative chest x-ray within 3 months required.
Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel drug screen including THC within 60 days of start. For California locations, both a 10-panel urine drug screen (excluding THC) and a psychoactive THC saliva test are required.
Background Checks and Verifications:
- National criminal background check within one year of start date.
- Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion checks required.
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport required for identification.
Testing and Competency:
- Prime Core Competencies Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
- Prime Specialty Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
- Prime Skills Checklist completion required.
- Prime Color-blind test: Must be completed annually.
Documentation:
- Copy of diploma or transcripts accepted if third-party education verification is unavailable.
- Signed current job description (within the year).
- Prime Orientation Packet including Essentials Form and Post Test.
- Prime Agency Attestation completed after all credentials are uploaded.
Optional:
- Fit test for respirator mask (annual).
- Badge photo (JPEG headshot with plain background).
- Name verification affidavit if name discrepancies exist.
