Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location

  • Charleston, South Carolina

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 8-10 on-call shifts per month including weekends
  • Guaranteed hours with allowance for 1 called-off shift every 2 weeks

  • Charting system: EPIC
  • Parking fee applies only nights and weekends ($20 one-time pass)

Job Description

  • Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology Technician
  • Preferred experience: Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP)
  • Required experience: Pediatric/Adult Transplant Right/Left Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, Valve Placement; Interventional Radiology (preferably pediatric)
  • Number of Cath Lab rooms: 2

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
  • Certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCI) certification required
