Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other holiday
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Participate in a resource pool supporting various patient care needs.
Required Qualifications
Licensure and Education
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
- Experience must be within the last year.
Certifications
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS.
- NIHSS.
Additional Information
- Specialty skills checklist provided by agency.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Work schedule includes every other holiday coverage.
This position is suitable for RNs with Medical/Surgical and Telemetry experience seeking a 13-week long-term assignment on a night shift. All required certifications, health screenings, and background checks must be current and verifiable prior to start.
