Description
Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General
Location
- New Mexico (traveling position to Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe clinics)
- Must reside in Albuquerque, NM area
- No local candidates within 100 miles accepted
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks minimum
- New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
- 6-month break required after 4 consecutive assignments or 1 year of work, whichever comes first
Schedule
- Shift: Day shift, 4x12 hours (5:15 AM to 7:00 PM)
- Includes travel time between facilities daily
- Team departs at 5:15 AM and returns between 6:30-7:00 PM
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call duties
Job Description
- Experienced sonographer needed who can work independently without direct supervision
- Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs across multiple clinic locations
- Must complete a safe driving module
- Driving outreach van on certain days; driver provided on others
- Parking and clock-in/out at designated clinic location where vans are parked
- Types of cases: Low and high-level Women’s Imaging for pregnant women
- Equipment used: GE E22, GE E10, GE S10 ultrasound machines
- Fetal Echo Certification required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 5 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARDMS certification
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification
- ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification
- Fetal Echocardiography experience
- BLS certification
