Location

Job Description
- Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, C-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Review patient clinical history to ensure appropriate orders and labs are within range; consult with radiologist as needed.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures.
- Select and operate imaging equipment and accessories to perform procedures successfully.
- Position patients to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest while respecting patient comfort and ability.
- Initiate basic life support when necessary.
- Determine radiographic technique and exposure factors following ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
- Apply radiation protection principles to protect patients, self, and others.
- Report and document X-ray safety incidents or adverse events per protocol.
- Process images, review for proper identification and quality control.
- Use radiology information systems (including PACS) to complete records, submit images, and assist with medical record/image sharing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT Radiography registration.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Provider-level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
