Rad Tech - Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Day, Afternoon, Night (12-hour rotating shifts)
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend and holiday work required (holidays possibly required)
• No call or standby requirement

Job Duties & Department Information

• Imaging modalities: X-Ray, OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy
• Must have experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy
• Average scans/studies per day: 400
• Department has 5 scanners/rooms
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Radiologist available in-house 24/7 with residents
• No IV starts required
• Scrubs provided; department-specific dress code applies
• Department-specific orientation provided

Equipment & Systems

• Equipment: Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, OEC C-arms
• Software: Epic EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• West Virginia state license required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency (not provided by facility)

Additional Submission Requirements

• Candidates can only be submitted to one position at a time within the system
• Driver’s license address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been off for 2 years before reapplying
• Previous travelers must have been off for 2 years if they stayed for 1 full year
• Travel teams must be submitted together
• Maximum of 2 candidates submitted per opening; additional submissions held until a spot opens
• All submissions must include an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license

Notes

• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used in the department
