Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Resource Pool (Med Surg/Tele)
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (Straight nights)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
Job Summary
- Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Care for patients across all phases: preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Responsible for patient assessment, education, triage, care planning, coordination, and various nursing interventions.
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and according to age- and population-specific standards.
- Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure rules, and the American Nurses Association’s Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license valid in South Dakota.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Additional Information
- Must badge in and out at the facility.
- Scrubs color: Navy Blue.
- Local placements within an 80-mile radius.
- Prior employment with the facility requires a minimum 6-month gap before re-submission.

- This is a night shift position with straight nights.
- Work schedule includes every other weekend and holiday coverage.
- The role involves Med Surg and Telemetry patient care within a central resource pool.
