Interventional Radiology Travel/Contract Job - Waterbury, Connecticut
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology)
- Location: Waterbury, Connecticut
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
- Call Requirement: Every 3rd week; Monday to Friday 5:00 PM – 7:30 AM, plus 24-hour coverage on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays
- Documentation Systems: Cerner, Merge PACS
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Connecticut
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Standard background check including 7-year residential/work/school history
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks updated monthly and run within 30 days of start
- Connecticut State Exclusion List check required within 30 days of start and updated monthly
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by NP, PA, or DO
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (updated annually)
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity/vaccination for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series, declination, or positive antibody titer)
- Varicella
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season (October 1 – May 31), with facility exemptions accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions may be submitted for approval on facility-specific forms
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references within 3 years of start
- Photo for badge required
- Compliance with facility-specific hand hygiene and COVID-19 policies, including exemption and deferral documentation if applicable
