    Description

    Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

    Location

    • Tacoma, Washington

    Job Type

    • Travel assignment
    • Contract length: 24 weeks

    Schedule

    • Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    • One weekend day per month with a compensatory day off during the week
    • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36–40 hours

    Facility & Unit Information

    • Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 60 beds
    • Adult and older adult patient population
    • Patient treatment ratio: approximately 6.5 patients per 8-hour day
    • Focus on rehabilitation for severe injury or illness, including CVA/neuro cases

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
    • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
    • Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
    • Inpatient Rehabilitation experience

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience with neurological and stroke (CVA) patients

    Additional Details

    • Scrub color: any
    • Report time: 8:00 AM on first day
    • Occasional weekend work required (1 day/month) with comp day off during the week
