Description
MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM)
Shift Details:
- Day shift coverage with 2 techs (one covers weekends)
- Night shift is call only (on call every Monday and one weekend per month)
Unit Information
- Unit: MRI Main Hospital
- Equipment: 2 GE 1.5T MRI scanners
- EMR Systems: Meditech / Centricity
- Typical Procedures:
- General MRI exams
- Exams involving anesthesia
- Exams with patients who have pacemakers or other cardiac devices
- Patient Ratios: Not applicable
- Staff: Normally 4 techs, currently 2 on day shift
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Level II Trauma experience
- Experience with Cardiac MRI
