Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary
Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with experience in acute care hospital cath lab settings. The role involves working in a cardiac catheterization lab with rotating night call and weekend responsibilities.
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Facility Size: 272 beds
- Cath Suites: 2 suites equipped with Philips equipment
- Staff: 5-6 techs and RNs on day shift; night shift is on call
- EMR Systems: Meditech and Mac Lab
- Typical Procedures: Basic cath lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring, conscious moderate sedation
- On Call: 7-8 days per month including one weekend; call response time within 30 minutes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Current certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- ARRT (R) certification
- RCIS or RCES certification
- If holding RCIS or RCES, must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado before starting
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
- Electrophysiology (EP) scrubbing experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Work Schedule
- Typical shift: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Rotating nights of call and weekends required
