Job Opportunity: Oncology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Frederick, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work on a 12-bed unit specializing in Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric surgery
- Shift: Night shift, 4 days a week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Patient ratio typically 1:4, may be 1:5 depending on acuity
- Rotating holidays and every other weekend required
- No on-call duties
- Floating to med/surg/tele as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Minimum of 1 year of Oncology experience, with Oncology experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific net learning modules and pass/fail testing prior to orientation (4-5 hours, due 1 week before start)
- Photo for badge submission (no nose rings allowed)
- Compliance with attendance and punctuality expectations
- Fit mask testing required prior to start (N95 or PAPR acceptable)
