    Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Position

    Location: Kennewick, Washington


    Job Details

    • Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

    Unit Profile

    • The NICU unit also supports coverage in Obstetrics (OB) due to staffing shortages; cross-training in both NICU and OB is required.
    • Patient population includes neonates; unit may involve care related to OB as well.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
    • Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

    Additional Information

    • Position is located in a teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland).
    • The area offers recreational opportunities including golf courses, parks, and is part of Washington Wine Country.
    • Travel candidates must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify.

    Summary

    This travel RN position in NICU requires a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, current RN licensure, and certifications in BLS and NRP. The role involves night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours weekly and may require floating to OB units. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks.
