Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop treatment plans aimed at helping patients regain mobility and independence.
- Assist patients with improving independence in daily tasks such as standing from a chair or climbing stairs.
- Lead and direct the delivery of physical therapy services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies.
- Work primarily with a diverse patient population including orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, both short-term rehab patients and long-term care residents.
- Utilize various modalities and equipment to provide effective therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri.
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
- Experience in Long Term Care settings.
- Experience in Rehabilitation settings.
Additional Information
- Facility is a 120-bed skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center with a dedicated nursing and therapy team.
- Seeking a self-motivated PT with a passion for innovative, patient-centered clinical programming and outstanding care delivery.
