Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Description
- Perform all radiographic examinations and properly position patients.
- Operate and be familiar with all radiographic equipment at any time.
- Provide high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain sterile technique proficiency.
- Deliver responsible patient care, manage supplies, and maintain equipment.
- Exhibit professionalism and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
- Comply with all policies to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Participate in continuing education and in-services to develop professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Current ARRT certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
- South Carolina Radiologic Society of Radiologic Technologists (SCQRSA) certification.
