Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Unit and Patient Information
- Unit Type: Medical Surgical
- Number of Beds: 48
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Patient Population: Adult
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Paragon
- Float Requirements: Rare; may occasionally float to inpatient rehab or Emergency Room for tasks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
- Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Experience
- Comfortable managing a 1:6 patient ratio with high patient turnover
