Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown (Nights)
Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
- Orientation dates available on a scheduled basis.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
- Night shift differential and overtime/holiday pay apply.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac and open heart experience.
- Completion of at least one prior travel nursing contract.
Additional Information
- Night shift hours are 12 hours long.
- Call back pay and on-call pay available.
- Charge nurse and preceptor pay available.
- Facility is a Level 1 trauma center.
- Must be able to work holidays and overtime as needed.
