MRI Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a registered MRI Technologist for a travel assignment. The position involves performing MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast imaging using GE equipment. The work environment uses Cerner EMR and operates with a 36-hour workweek.
Work Schedule
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Rotating weekends required
- No on-call duties mentioned
- Special scheduling requests (RTO/Special Scheduling) will not be accommodated
Unit Information
- Staff: 9 total (day shift example includes 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
- Equipment: GE MRI machines
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Breast MRI procedures
Additional Notes
- Candidates without MRI registration will not be considered
- Floating assignments may be required within MRI areas
