Description
Surgical Tech - Jamestown, North Dakota
Job Details
- Location: Jamestown, ND
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- On Call: One night per week and two weekends per month, plus rotating holidays
- OR Suites: 3 rooms
- Orientation: 8 hours non-billable orientation; total training 1-2 weeks
- Dress Code: Provided
Job Description
- Assist in transferring patients to and from the OR suite
- Assist with cleanup of the room
- Support RN circulator by ordering and restocking medications
- Prepare and pass surgical instruments
- Use EPIC electronic systems for charting and medication management
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an OR Tech or Surgical Tech
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- North Dakota UAP license required (temporary license must be in hand before starting orientation)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA certification required

- Local candidates accepted
- Call schedule includes every 4th weekend and 1 night per week
