Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Days

Location: Aitkin, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Days
Hours: 9 hours/day, 36 hours/week (typically 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts with a 40-hour guarantee)

Job Description

• Perioperative Registered Nurse working in the Operating Room (OR)
• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
• After-hours call required: 1 day per week and every 6th weekend
• Work environment includes 3 OR suites and 2 GI rooms in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Cases include Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Robotics, ENT, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
• No Cardiology or Neurology cases
• Shift hours range between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• No float required
• Location is approximately 1.5 hours from Duluth and 2.5 hours from Minneapolis

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in Orthopedics, Urology, and OB/GYN specialties

Additional Information

• Rotation length expected between 12 to 16 weeks
• Immediate start preferred
• Candidates must be registered in the Minnesota NetStudy system prior to submission
