Description
MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Aventura, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: MRI
- Number of Beds: 467
- Staff on Unit: 2 MRI Technologists (1 day shift, 1 night shift)
- Equipment: GE Explorer 1.5 Tesla MRI
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, GE PACS
- Call Requirements: On call after 11 PM and 24-hour rotation on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) among the team
Typical Procedures
- MRI scans including Neuro, Body, Musculoskeletal (MSK), Angiography, and Breast imaging
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT MRI Registry Certification (ARRT MR)
- Florida State License in Radiology Technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Additional Preferences
- Ability to work independently
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- The department is ACR accredited and recognized for providing exceptional patient care
