Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Alabaster, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 17:30)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Call only
- Call Requirements: 1 weekend every 4th weekend plus at least 1 weekday call per week
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Unit Size: 4 Cath Lab rooms
- Equipment Used: Philips X-ray, Merge HEMO Charting
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) procedures is a plus
Work Environment & Culture
- Patient Population: Cardiology patients in Cath Lab setting
- Dress Code: Scrubs only (Ceil Blue or Navy)
- Unacceptable Attire: Anything other than scrubs
