Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- No floating
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT (R) - Radiography certification
- ARRT (VI) - Interventional Radiography certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Certifications and Licenses
- ARRT(R) - Radiography certification
- ARRT(VI) - Interventional Radiography certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Required Documentation and Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- I9 Attestation and E-Verify compliance
- Background checks including:
- 7-year criminal background check
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search (must be finalized prior to start)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse (Childline) Search completed 3 business days prior to start
- Education verification of highest degree/diploma/transcripts
- Employment application and recent resume
- Two professional references within last 3 years
- Annual skills checklist
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
- Fit mask test required for patient-facing candidates (specific mask types mandated)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start; chest X-ray required if TB positive
- Vaccination or positive titer proof for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella
- Seasonal flu vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption/declination
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start (for agency compliance only)
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Facility Requirements
- Tobacco and fragrance-free environment
- Clear, passport-style photo for badge (no masks, hats, sunglasses; religious headwear allowed)
- Completion of facility-specific documents including:
- Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work form
- Commitment to Health & Wellness
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Non-Employee Affidavit
- I9 and Documentation Attestations
- Hepatitis B declination form if applicable
- Vehicle registration form (if applicable)
- Review of facility policies such as "Wellspan Way"
Competency Exams and Training
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail) required within 72 hours of contract signing
- Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing required within 48 hours of contract signing
- Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules on PC/laptop prior to start (for RNs and CNAs only)
- New hire orientation required by end of first day
Additional Information
- Return to Office (RTO) requirement: maximum 7 days
- No weekend, holiday, or call shifts
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
