Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 labs and approximately 10 cases daily.
- Procedures performed include LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
- Use equipment such as GE X-ray and documentation systems Maclab and Meditech.
- Scheduling requires 7-9 call days monthly, including at least 1 weekend.
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- Advanced skills needed in emergency medication knowledge.
- Scrubs are provided as the required uniform.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
