Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM (Night Shift)
Unit Information
- Unit: 7 North - Spine
- Number of Beds: 18-20
- Staff per Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, 1-2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Patient Ratio: 6 patients per nurse with LPN support
- Equipment used: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA pumps
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications
- Burn care experience
- Wound care and ostomy care experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Typical Procedures
- Wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
