    Description

    Nuclear Medicine Technologist / CT Tech

    Overview

    • Location: La Mesa, California
    • Employment type: Travel allied clinical role
    • Contract length: 13 weeks
    • Shift: 8-hour day shifts
    • Hours: 40 hours per week

    Schedule

    • On-call required with a 45-minute response time
    • Every other weekend
    • Variable weekday shifts: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
    • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
    • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association
    • CTNM or CNMT
    • ARRT (CT)
    • ARRT (N)
    • CT Technologist experience

    Role Highlights

    • Provides individualized patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Collaborates in complex or high-risk clinical situations
    • Advocates for patients and families to support quality care outcomes

    On-call Details

    • If a nuclear medicine dose is needed, the technologist may need to call the pharmacy from home and notify the ordering provider of the delay until the dose arrives
