Description
Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist/CT Tech
Location: La Mesa, California
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Variable Monday to Friday shifts (06:30-15:00, 07:30-16:00, or 08:30-17:30)
On Call: As needed with a 45-minute response time; may require calling pharmacy from home to order doses and notifying providers before arriving onsite (dose arrival can take 1 to 1.5 hours)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Radiology
Job Description
- Provide individualized, holistic patient care aimed at progressing patients toward their self-identified goals.
- Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, and efficient care.
- Collaborate with clinical teams for management of complex or high-risk situations.
- Advocate for patients and families to ensure excellent and satisfying care outcomes.
- Promote quality outcomes through clinical collaboration and care evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Radiology Technologist experience
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential from NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- Certified Computed Tomography (CT) credential from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
- Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) All Scopes certification from California Department of Public Health
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Key Skills and Competencies
- Radiology expertise with at least 2 years of experience.
- Patient care and assessment skills.
- Care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Clinical collaboration and advocacy.
- Ability to respond promptly when on call.
