Nuclear Medicine Technologist / CT Tech
Overview
- Location: La Mesa, California
- Employment type: Travel allied clinical role
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule
- On-call required with a 45-minute response time
- Every other weekend
- Variable weekday shifts: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CTNM or CNMT
- ARRT (CT)
- ARRT (N)
- CT Technologist experience
Role Highlights
- Provides individualized patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborates in complex or high-risk clinical situations
- Advocates for patients and families to support quality care outcomes
On-call Details
- If a nuclear medicine dose is needed, the technologist may need to call the pharmacy from home and notify the ordering provider of the delay until the dose arrives
