Description

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 8 weeks)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM


Job Summary

Provide nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients according to established patient care philosophies. Care may be direct or indirect for a defined patient group.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Additional Information

  • Must provide a valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Required to submit a neutral-colored, forward-facing badge photo
  • Annual completion of COVID and flu policy forms required
  • Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position
