Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Assignment
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Information
- Acute care Occupational Therapy unit with approximately 250 active consults daily
- Staff includes 30 total headcount with 17.29 full-time equivalents
- OTR to COTA ratio is 2:1
- Typical patient load: 8-10 patients assigned per OTR per day
- Equipment: General acute care durable medical equipment (DME)
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered) certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with trauma patients
- Comprehensive stroke care experience
