Job Overview
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Shift: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours per week: 36
- Call: Required, with rotating self-scheduling
- Floating: Not required
Unit Details
- Pediatric cardiovascular operating room setting
- Dedicated pediatric CVOR team
- 2 pediatric CVOR rooms
- Day shift staffing includes 4 CSTs and 5 RNs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVOR (1 year of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Pediatric CVOR experience
Preferred Experience
- Pediatric CVOR experience
Key Responsibilities / Procedures
- Open heart surgery for pediatric congenital heart patients
- Bedside sternal closures and washout procedures in the ICU
