Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Level II Trauma Center
- Bed Capacity: 309
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (3 Cath Labs)
- Staff: 20 total (Day shift: 8 RNs, 5 Techs, 2 Lead Techs, 1 CNC; Night shift: none)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE
- EMR Systems: MacLab and Meditech
Job Description
- Perform procedures including PCI, Structural Heart, and diagnostic caths
- Work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating schedule with hospital staff
- Scrub color for RNs: Navy Blue
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Cath Lab required (candidates without Cath Lab experience will not be considered)
