Education

Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

License

Colorado Nursing License

Certifications

RN - L&D

Location

Lafayette, Colorado

Contract

13 weeks
Night shift, 12 hours
36 hours per week

Schedule

Weekends required: 10 weekend shifts in 8 weeks
On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

1+ years of experience
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
Single State or Compact RN license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
NRP certification
AWHONN or C-EFM certification

Education

ASN from an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Provide health teaching and counseling
Perform therapy and treatment, including delegated medical functions
Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications as needed
