Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit and Facility Overview
- Operating Room in a 343-bed hospital
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Surgical equipment used; documentation via Meditech system
- Set schedules with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (based on availability)
- No floating except rarely for COVID-related situations
- Designated Level I Trauma Center, equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24/7
- State-of-the-art Pediatric Emergency Room
- Multiple accreditations including trauma, stroke, cardiac, maternity, cancer, and more
- Friendly, team-based culture with staff experience ranging from new graduates to over 30 years
- New graduates are welcome

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
