Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Nightshift)

Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nightshift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 hours with opportunity for extra shifts

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department during night shifts.
• Must be a team player with experience and knowledge specific to Emergency Department nursing.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract.
• Full availability for scheduling is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Emergency Department nursing experience within the last year.
• Current certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Completion of approved suicide prevention training.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Meditech electronic health record system is helpful but not required.

Contract Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Nightshift schedule with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
• Ability to pick up extra shifts is available.
