Description
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Nightshift)
Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nightshift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 hours with opportunity for extra shifts
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department during night shifts.
- Must be a team player with experience and knowledge specific to Emergency Department nursing.
- Return to Office (RTO) requests must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract.
- Full availability for scheduling is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Emergency Department nursing experience within the last year.
- Current certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Completion of approved suicide prevention training.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Meditech electronic health record system is helpful but not required.
Contract Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
- Nightshift schedule with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
- Ability to pick up extra shifts is available.
