Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location
- Paris, Texas (approximately 110 miles northeast of Dallas, near the Texas-Oklahoma border)
- Small town with a historic downtown and local attractions
- Housing options include Airbnb and hotels with possible discounts
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Facility Overview
- 154-bed hospital serving Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Level 1 NICU
- Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
- Recognized in the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Orientation
- Weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
Additional Notes
- The client may require additional certifications beyond those listed
- The hospital is the most complex within a 70-mile radius
